We had advisory in high school. I have no idea if it’s the same thing, but what we did was talk about people problems in high school, like drinking, bullying, how to do well in school, etc. The class was basically what its title sounded like. It will probably be the same for college since you’ll be a freshman and they may require it for everyone to take to learn how to survive in college.

The word “Advisory” in this case, may apply to “prereqs” or courses that you’ll be required to complete with the minimum grades iindicated BEFORE you’ll be able to enroll in IDES 300. You can verify this by checking with one of your school counselors.
