Question by Funguy: I got a letter from “College Financial Advisory”. Is this legit or a scam?
it knows what college i go to and tells me to fill out this form and return it by june 30, 2010 with a “refundable cfa processing fee” of $ 59. I have never received this form in the past, and the website is very shabby looking.

this is called junk mail… throw it away and don’t be surprised if you start getting tons of spam in your email now…

It is probably a scam. If I were you, don’t fill out appilcation.
If they’re making you pay a fee before you receive any money, then it’s a scam. Fees are always taken out of financial aid directly and you will never have to pay anything up front.
